Chugiak motorcyclist dead after crash

ANCHORAGE - A 49-year-old Chugiak man has died after his motorcycle crashed on Glenn Highway heading into Anchorage.

Anchorage police said the accident happened at 8 p.m. Friday. A witness driving behind the motorcyclist told police she rounded the corner of the off-ramp and saw a cloud of dust but no motorcycle.

The man wasn't breathing when officers found him. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
