Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Drunken driving:
Police arrested Jonathan Hamilton, 37, on a charge of drunken driving at 10:23 p.m. Thursday on Egan Drive. Hamilton was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.
Ashleigh Hale, 18, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway on charges of drunken driving, two counts of reckless endangerment, and underage drinking. During the same incident a man, 20, was arrested on an outstanding troopers warrant charging failure to appear in court, and he was cited for underage drinking. They were lodged at the state prison.
Assault:
A man, 70, was arrested at 1 a.m. Saturday near South Franklin Street on charges of assault and resisting arrest. He was lodged at the state prison.
Hit and run:
A girl, 15, reported that a green Subaru struck her on the leg and drove away at 3:42 p.m. Thursday on Glacier Avenue. Police were unable to locate the vehicle involved.
Domestic disputes:
Police arrested a man, 33, on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 6:46 p.m. Thursday in the Mendenhall Valley. The man was lodged at the state prison.
Thefts:
Several items were reported stolen at 10:56 a.m. Friday from a boat in Harris Harbor. Details were unavailable, but the value of the missing property was estimated at $520.
A purse was reported stolen from a 1988 Subaru at 6:10 p.m. Friday near Lemon Creek.
A wallet was reported stolen from a locker at 11:15 p.m. Friday near Glacier Avenue.
Found property:
A generator was reported found at 12:03 a.m. Friday near Glacier Highway and Anka Street. It was turned in to police for safekeeping.
A red nylon compact-disc case containing 15 to 20 CDs was reported found at 12:27 a.m. Friday near Seward Street and Marine Way. It was turned in to police for safekeeping.
Animal complaints:
A bear was reported getting into garbage at 11:37 p.m. Thursday in the back of a truck in the 2000 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
A bear reportedly broke into the garbage shed at 12:59 a.m. Friday in the 800 block of Cedar Drive. Also Friday, a woman reported a bear chasing her cat and husband at 9:27 a.m. near Garnet Street, and at 10:20 a.m., a man reported a bear getting into garbage in the area of Sanders Street and McGinnis Drive area.
An aggressive bear was reported at 2:30 p.m. Friday near Amalga Street.
The state Department of Fish and Game tranquilized a bear and removed it from the area at about 3:20 p.m. Friday near Valley Boulevard.
A bear cub was reported struck by a vehicle at 7:30 p.m. Friday near Back Loop Road and the UAS housing. It ran into the woods.
Other:
A man, 22, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. Saturday near Front Street on a charge of being drunk on licensed premises. He was taken to the state prison.
