It seems to me that there are an awful lot of people claiming to own your publication. In my opinion these people are stuck in a 1950s type conservative mentality. "Not in my newspaper!" they claim. That newspaper belongs to everyone in Juneau, not just the conservative religious right types. I'd rather read a few bad articles than lose this town's right to free press. These people are so closed minded they don't want to allow anything in "their newspaper" that the young diverse people of this town might be interested in knowing. I hope they remember how they tried to censor and suppress the information given to its young people when they're too old to take care of themselves and are in need of our assistance and watchful supervision. I hope all of us can forgive them and treat them with the respect they deserve during that time. I am 29 years old and in the very demographic that the Hooligan insert is aimed at. I am of age to make my own choice as to what I read and, yes, I love the new Hooligan insert.
