Bear complaints:
Bears were reported Tuesday at 8:58 p.m. near Goldbelt Avenue; at 9:01 p.m. near Capital Avenue; at 10:36 p.m. near West 10th Street.
Liquor violation:
A 46-year-old man was arrested at 12:19 a.m. Wednesday near Front Street for being drunk on a licensed premises. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Disorderly conduct:
A 43-year-old man was arrested at 12:42 a.m. Wednesday near Willoughby Avenue for interfering with an officer. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Theft:
At 2:42 a.m. Wednesday, a 41-year-old man reported a customer failed to pay $27.20 at a business near Mendenhall Mall Road.
At 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, a 30-year-old woman reported her purse and cell phone were stolen from the downtown area sometime Sunday night.
Vandalism:
At 12:37 p.m. Tuesday, a male caller reported a soccer net was vandalized sometime over the weekend near Renninger Street. Damage was estimated at $100.
Vehicle accident:
At 1:23 p.m. Tuesday, a 55-year-old man reported his 1996 Chevy pickup truck was struck by an unknown vehicle between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. Friday near Sealaska Plaza. The accident caused a crease and a scrape to the rear panel. A damage estimate was not available.
Found property:
At 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, a 34-year-old woman's checkbook was found near Rawn Way. Police have taken it for safekeeping.
At 10:16 a.m. Wednesday, a Juneau police officer discovered an unknown amount of cash near Mallard Street. The officer placed the money into safekeeping.
At 4:39 p.m. Tuesday, a 31-year-old woman's backpack was found near Marine Way. The bag was placed into safekeeping.
