Organization description: The Juneau Arts and Humanities Council is the formal arts agency for Juneau. JAHC is a community-based arts organization with a mission to provide cultural opportunities to the community of Juneau.

Volunteer opportunities: Volunteers are needed for armory clean up. We will be moving into the old National Guard Armory, which is a mess. We will be organizing work parties to clean, paint and refurbish. Can you help? We'll contact you as soon as we are ready to rock and roll on this. Plan to bring your own rubber gloves and cleaning supplies if you can.

This opportunity is available to those 18 and over, as well as small groups and individuals.

• Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a weekly feature on the Neighbors page and is in collaboration with the United Way of Southeast Alaska. More volunteer opportunities can be found online at the Volunteer Center of Southeast Alaska, www.unitedwayseak.org.
