ce Lawhorne of Capital City Fire and Rescue watches as Siara Kelly, 10, sprays a fire hose Sunday during the Juneau Rotary Club's annual Heavy Equipment Day at Grants Plaza. About 25 pieces of heavy equipment were on display. Children got three rides on the equipment for $5. The event is called a "Fun Raiser" and "gives kids an opportunity to ride on the big rigs," said Bob Rehfeld, Juneau Rotarian and event organizer. The Juneau Local Operating Engineers Union Local 302 also helped with the event.
