Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while intoxicated:
Phillip Wallen, 23, was arrested at 12:41 a.m. Sunday near Davis Avenue in Lemon Creek for drunken driving and failure to stop. He was also charged with driving without a valid license. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Lonnie Guthrie, 26, was arrested at 2:54 a.m. Sunday near Lee Smith Drive for drunken driving. He was also charged with refusal to submit to a chemical test and served an outstanding warrant. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Theft:
A woman, 35, reported at 7:47 p.m. Saturday that $20 in gas was stolen near West 10th Street.
A man, 53, reported at 4:44 a.m. Sunday that a leather jacket, pair of binoculars and several medications were stolen from his vehicle, near West Ninth Street.
Vehicle accidents:
A man, 43, reported at 10:34 a.m. Sunday that a black Pontiac Bonneville drove over a concrete block and caused damage to his yard, near Del Rae Road and Susan Way. The vehicle left the scene before police arrived.
Animal complaints:
Bears were reported Saturday at 9:01 p.m. near North Douglas Highway, 9:30 p.m. near Glacier Highway, 9:43 p.m. near 12 Mile, Glacier Highway and Sunday at 12:28 a.m. near Thunder Mountain Road and 1:55 a.m. near Glacier Highway.
Assault:
A man, 56, was arrested at 3 a.m. Sunday near Gastineau Avenue and First Street for third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Vandalism:
A woman, 29, reported at 3:36 a.m. Sunday that the side window of her vehicle was broken sometime that night. A damage estimate was not available.
Disturbance:
A man, 20, was arrested at 12:21 a.m. Sunday near Gold Street for resisting arrest. He was cited for minor consuming and lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
