Organization description: NCADD is dedicated to providing education, information, help and hope in the fight against alcoholism and other drug addictions.
Volunteer positions available: Volunteer facilitators, to help with Alaska Teen Institute retreats, are needed on a one-time basis for approximately 32 hours a week. One day of training and background check are required. As an adult facilitator, volunteers will be expected to co-facilitate small group discussions, lead games and activities, and help enforce retreat rules. They will also sleep overnight with the students and act as a positive role models. Participation in a pre-planning and training meeting is required.
