Record-breaking geese

Canada geese gather last week in the fields of Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge in Fairbanks. Biologists counted a record 4,040 Canada geese at Creamer's Field on Thursday,eclipsing the old daily record count by almost 800 birds. 2002 continues to be a record waterfowl year at the 200-acre refuge.
