Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Hit and run:
At 6:42 p.m. Sunday, a man reported his Plymouth Voyager was struck by an unknown vehicle near Mendenhall Mall Road. He reported damage to the hatchback door.
Domestic disputes:
Police arrested a 42-year-old man on a charge alleging domestic violence assault at 5:43 p.m. Sunday near Willoughby Avenue. The man also was charged with resisting arrest and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Thefts:
A woman reported her purse was stolen at 3:20 p.m. Sunday near Willoughby Avenue. The purse contained her identification, a checkbook, keys and an undisclosed amount of cash.
A man reported his black leather wallet was stolen at 8:20 p.m. Sunday near Third Street. The wallet contained identification, a bus pass, a key card and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Found property:
A piece of luggage was found at 12:42 p.m. Sunday near Willoughby Avenue and Village Street. Police placed it in safekeeping.
Animal complaints:
A bear was reported breaking down a gated area to get at trash at 2:18 p.m. Monday in the 5000 block of North Douglas Highway.
