Brendan Peter Monroe died Sept. 3, 2003, in Seattle following heart surgery. He was born in Juneau on Aug. 21, 2003.
He is survived by his mother, Jemima Monroe; father, Daniel Tyson Monroe; brother, Daniel Timothy Monroe; sister, Adrienne Monroe, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Informal public services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 9055 Atlin Drive, near the corner of Mendenhall Loop Road and Egan Drive, with a reception to follow.
Instead of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Brendan's name to Bartlett Regional Hospital in Juneau or Children's Hospital in Seattle.
