Munoz, Montero wed

Christy Munoz of Petersburg and George Montero Jr. of Juneau were married on July 2, 2005, in Juneau. The reception was held at the Tlingit and Haida Community Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Doug and Carol Matheson and is employed as a homemaker.

The groom is the son of George Montero and Christina Henning. He is an accounting clerk II for the Alaska Department of Natural Resources

The maid of honor was Carol Matheson, and the bridesmaids were Stephanie Masse, Karen Lane and Shrie Zucati. The flower girls were the bride's daughters, Carissa and Emily.

The best man was Bryan King, and the groomsmen were James Masse, Ed Ebona and the groom's son, George Montero III. The ring bearers were Jimmy and Justin Masse.

For their honeymoon, the couple plans to travel to Hawaii one day. The couple now make their home in Juneau.
