ANCHORAGE - Alaska health officials are reporting the state's third death from swine flu.
The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services said the victim was a middle-aged woman from Seward.
She was admitted Aug. 15 to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage with flulike symptoms. She died Aug. 28 from a combination of respiratory and other pre-existing conditions.
A viral sample tested positive for swine flu.
A 10-year-old Fairbanks boy died from swine flu over the weekend. A woman from Fairbanks who had underlying health problems was the first. She died in July in Washington state.
