Motorcyclist killed in accident identified

ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police have released the name of the man killed when his motorcycle crashed on the Glenn Highway heading into Anchorage.

Police on Tuesday identified the victim as 49-year-old Frank Muller of Chugiak.

Anchorage police said the accident happened at 8 p.m. Friday. A witness driving behind the motorcyclist told police she rounded the corner of the Muldoon off-ramp and saw a cloud of dust but no motorcycle.

The man wasn't breathing when officers found him. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
