Loose boat trailer hits cyclist in Anchorage

ANCHORAGE - Police say an empty boat trailer that broke lose from a pickup truck and hit a bicyclist in Anchorage apparently didn't have a safety chain, as required by law.
Lt. Dave Parker told the Anchorage Daily News the 27-year-old cyclist never saw the trailer coming Tuesday night and suffered head and leg injuries.
