Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


A woman, 38, was arrested for domestic violence assault at 1:41 a.m. Sunday in the downtown area. She was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

A woman, 22, was arrested for domestic violence assault at 5:26 a.m. Sunday in the Mendenhall Valley. She was lodged at the state prison.


Police arrested a man, 22, for concealment of merchandise and resisting arrest at 8:16 a.m. Saturday near Willoughby Avenue. He was lodged at the state prison.

A girl, 16, was arrested at 12:33 a.m. Saturday near Northwood Drive for vehicle theft involving a 1989 Plymouth. She was lodged at the Juneau Youth Center.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

Police responded to a report at 6:56 a.m. Saturday at Bicknell Construction that someone vandalized vehicles belonging to the company sometime during the night or early morning hours. Police said a suspect or suspects started several vehicles and rammed them into other vehicles. Damages were estimated at more than $5,300, including property stolen from the vehicles.

Police responded to a report at 1:20 p.m. Saturday near Dock Street that trees and furniture had been vandalized at a residence.

Underage drinking:

A boy, 17, was cited for underage drinking at 11:43 p.m. Saturday near the police station. He was released to a guardian. A boy and a girl, both 16, also were cited. The girl was taken to Cornerstone and the boy was taken to the Johnson Youth Center on probation remand.

A man, 19, was cited for underage drinking at 12:42 a.m. Sunday near Peterson Creek Access. Two women, both 18, also were cited.

Police cited a man, 19, for underage drinking 12:08 a.m. Sunday near Cope Park.

Police cited a man, 19, for underage drinking at 1:53 a.m. Sunday near Riverside Drive and James Road.

A woman, 20, was cited for underage drinking at 3:58 a.m. Monday near Trafalgar Avenue.

Bears were reported Saturday at 9:43 a.m. near Nowell Avenue, 11:28 a.m. near Gold Street and Sixth Street, 12:20 p.m. near Evergreen Park Road, 1:29 p.m. near Teal Court, 9:01 p.m. near Cedar Park, 9:07 p.m. near Jackson Road, 10:45 p.m. near Glacier Highway, 11:22 p.m. near Douglas Highway and 11:22 p.m. near North Douglas Highway.

Bears were reported Sunday at 3:17 a.m. near Irwin Street, 3:36 a.m. near Gruening Park, 6:47 a.m. near Glacier Highway, 6:57 a.m. near Garnet Street, 7:25 a.m. near North Douglas Highway, 7:07 p.m. near Perseverance Trail, 7:58 p.m. near Glacier Highway, 9:22 p.m. near Loop Road and Kodzoff Road, 10:33 p.m. near Stephen Richards Drive, 10:35 p.m. near South Franklin Street and 11:58 p.m. near Switzer Village.

Bears were reported today at 3 a.m. near Loop Road and El Camino Street and 6:09 a.m. near Forest Lane.

Alcohol-related calls: 8.
