Police arrested a 20-year-old Juneau man on charges of drunken driving, refusing a breath test and criminal mischief at 10:32 p.m. Thursday on Crow Hill Drive on Douglas Island. They also cited him on charges of underage drinking and driving without a license or insurance. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Police arrested a 22-year-old Juneau man on a charge of drunken driving at 1:40 a.m. Saturday on Glacier Highway near Hospital Drive. They impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Police arrested a 24-year-old man at 2:32 a.m. Saturday on a charge of violating a protection order related to domestic violence somewhere in the Juneau area. They lodged him at the state prison.
Police arrested a 25-year-old man on a charge of violating a protection order related to domestic violence at 9:40 a.m. Saturday downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.
Police cited a 48-year-old man on a charge of disorderly conduct at 12:36 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Franklin Street downtown.
A personal digital music player, a digital camera and wedding ring were reported stolen at 3:54 p.m. Thursday from an unlocked residence in the 100 block of Park Street downtown.
A gym bag containing clothing, shoes and shower items was reported stolen at 9:01 a.m. Friday from an unlocked Jeep somewhere in the Juneau area.
A cloth bag with metal handles and a purse containing medication were reported stolen at 11:03 p.m. Friday from an unlocked van near Egan Drive downtown.
Headlight covers were reported stolen at 11:16 p.m. Friday from a 1990 Ford F250 pickup in the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
A digital camera was reported stolen at 9:31 a.m. Saturday in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.
A passport and $1,000 were reported stolen at 10:19 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Front Street downtown.
Police arrested a 45-year-old man on a charge of shoplifting at 1:15 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue downtown.
At 11:07 a.m. Friday, a rock was reported thrown through the back window of a Jeep in the 2003 block of Ka-See-An Drive near the airport.
Police cited a 51-year-old woman on a charge of unsafely backing up her vehicle in an accident at 8:44 a.m. Friday in the 6200 block of Alaway Avenue in the Lemon Creek area. She was driving a 2005 Dodge Dakota, which sustained an estimated $500 in damage. Damage to the other vehicle, a 2001 Ford, was estimated at $100.
A total of $1,500 in damages was estimated in an accident at 12:08 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Glacier Highway downtown, involving a Jeep driven by a 17-year-old boy and a Honda driven by an 18-year-old man.
No damage estimate was available in an accident reported at 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway involving an 2001 Mercury Sable driven by a 74-year-old man and a Ford Focus driven by a 49-year-old woman.
Police impounded a vehicle at 1 a.m. Friday on Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area after citing the driver, a 19-year-old man, on a charge of driving without a license.

A 59-year-old woman reported at 8:06 p.m. Friday that while riding a motorcycle on North Douglas Highway she struck a deer. Damage to the motorcycle was estimated at $3,000.
At 8:23 p.m. Friday, police received the first of several reports of a red truck hitting a bear on outbound Glacier Highway near Sherwood Lane. The truck reportedly left the scene. At 9:32 p.m. Friday, a bear was reportedly struck by a vehicle on Mendenhall Loop Road near Auke Bay. The bear was killed. The vehicle sustained minor damage. A bear was reported trying to get into a storage shed at 10:51 p.m. Thursday in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Bears were reported getting into trash at 10:35 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Willoughby Avenue and at 5:24 a.m. Saturday on Tongass Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley. Bears also were reported seen Friday at 2:57 p.m. in the 700 block of Fifth Street downtown, at 3:12 p.m. in the 8800 block of Gail Avenue in the valley and at 3:54 p.m. at Fifth and Kennedy streets downtown.
