Frances Dowd and Larry Schrader, both of Juneau, were married Aug. 8, 2008, in Warrenton, Ore. Friends and family are invited to a barbecue/potluck reception at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Marlintini's Lounge. Children are welcome, provided they are with a guardian. The bride is the daughter of David and Suzanne Dowd, of Juneau, and San Diego, Calif., and Michelle Hair, of Warrenton, Ore. A graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School, she is a ward clerk at Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium.
The groom is the son of Lynn and Ken Schultz, of Warrenton. A graduate of Chugiak High School, he is a case manager at Gastineau Human Services Corp.
The matron of honor was Jenne Sipniewski, and the bridesmaids were Liesel Weiland and Rachel Dowd. The flower girl was the bride's daughter, Amanda Lee.
The best man was Sean Amestoy, and the groomsmen were Brandon Schrader and Kenneth Schultz II. The ringbearer was the bride's nephew, Damion Retallic.
The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas and will make their home in Juneau.
