Man dies in truck fire on Parks Highway

HEALY - Alaska state troopers responding to an accident on the Parks Highway near Healy found a truck on fire and the driver dead inside.
Spokesman Tim DeSpain said the truck left the roadway down a steep hill and landed on its side. When troopers arrived about 9 a.m. Tuesday it was fully engulfed in flames.
There was no sign of a crime in the accident.
The Anchorage Daily News reported medical investigators will have to use dental records to identify the driver.
