The Cathedral of the Nativity and Northern Light United Church are both holding noon-time services today in response to the terrorist attacks in New York and DC.
"That's just a first effort," said Father Michael Nash. "We'll let the smoke clear and then see, but we've got so many people in pain we've just got to find a way to respond."
A Mass of Remembrance will be held at the Cathedral on Fifth and Gold Street at 12:10 a.m. Northern Light United Church will start their service at noon at the church on 11th Street.
