Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested James Hutchison, 58, on a charge of drunken driving at 6:33 p.m. Thursday on Del Rae Road in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

• Police arrested a 17-year-old boy on a charge of drunken driving at 8:02 p.m. in the 6000 block of Lemon Street in the Lemon Creek area. They lodged him at Johnson Youth Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

• Police arrested Norman Adams, 31, on a charge of drunken driving at 8:16 p.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. They lodged him at the state prison and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

Disorderly conduct:

• Police arrested a man, 29, on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at 1:44 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Front Street downtown.

Underage drinking:

• At 9:57 p.m. Friday, police cited a 17-year-old girl on a charge of underage drinking in the 9300 block of Northland Street in the valley. She was released to her parent.

Hit and run:

• A woman, 47, reported her Toyota was struck by a red Ford truck at 6:58 p.m. while parked in the 600 block of West Willoughby Avenue.

• Damage was estimated at $150 to a mailbox that was reported at 9:18 a.m. Saturday to have been knocked over in the 8200 block of Birch Lane in the valley.

Theft:

• At 4:22 p.m. Thursday, a 36-year-old man reported a stereo was stolen from an unlocked Ford truck in the 2400 block of Industrial Blvd.

• At 3 p.m. Friday, a 77-year-old woman reported the theft of a radio antenna from her Plymouth Neon in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue.

• At 4:15 p.m. Friday, a 56-year-old woman reported her $20 sweater and keys were taken while shopping in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At 11:44 a.m. Saturday, a 33-year-old man reported some prescription drugs were stolen from a vehicle while it was parked in the 8100 Block of Glacier Highway.

Vandalism:

• At 9:36 a.m. Saturday, a 31-year-old man reported vandalism to a portable toilet in the 9000 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. The fire damage was not permanent and was able to be cleaned up.

Driving without a license:

• At 2:10 a.m. Friday, police cited a 41-year-old women for driving without a license on Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At 2:58 p.m. Friday, police cited a 25-year-old man for driving while revoked on Glacier Highway.

Animal encounters:

• Bears were reported at 1:22 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive, at 9:57 p.m. Thursday in the 3800 block of Melrose Street, at 11:11 p.m. Thursday in the 3700 block of Julep Street, at 1:40 a.m. Friday at the corner of Seventh Street and North Franklin Street, at 10:55 p.m. Friday in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive, and at 11:27 p.m. Friday on Glacier Highway.
