The Juneau-Douglas High School volleyball team extended its winning streak to four games this season with a pair of straight-set victories over host Ketchikan this weekend.
On Saturday, the Crimson Bears (4-0) defeated the Kings 25-17, 25-11, 25-17.
Senior outside Hitter Sarah Manning posted four kills and six digs while Jillian Hahnlen added 10 kills with two solo blocks.
Lesley Kalbrener had nine kills, Sarah Christianson contributed seven kills, one ace and five digs, and Torie Powers chipped in with two aces and nine digs in the win.
Alycia Cox had eight digs, Hannah Barril added seven digs and outside hitter Anne Wilcock posted two solo blocks for the Crimson Bears.
Also on Saturday, Marita Rodriguez and Rochele Rodman each had one ace.
On Friday, JDHS topped Ketchikan 25-12, 25-19, 25-23
Kalbrener led the Crimson Bears in kills with 11.
Hahnlen had 10 kills, Manning added nine kills, Christianson posted three kills and Cox made nine digs in the win.
Powers had three aces, Rodman added five digs and Barril had an ace in the win.
JDHS travels to Washington state for three games next weekend.
