Fran supports keeping capital in hometown

n Ulmer has worked hard to help make Juneau the best capital city it can be. Let's make one thing perfectly clear: Fran Ulmer supports keeping the capital in Juneau. She's lived here for 29 years, raised her family here, and devoted countless hours to serving the people of Juneau. She has been an active member of this community, serving on many local organizations such as the Juneau Planning Commission, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Juneau Lyric Opera, Juneau Jazz and Classics, Downtown Rotary, and Northern Lights Church among many others. As mayor of Juneau, as a legislator and as lieutenant governor, she has continued to speak out on behalf of her hometown and has always kept an open-door policy. Next time you see her at the grocery store, or walking her dog, or at the movies, ask her where she stands on the issues. She'll be glad to tell you personally. There has never been a governor from Southeast, let alone a governor from Juneau. Let's rally for our hometown candidate.
