Courts
Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.
Judgments:
John Maddox, 30, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from an Aug. 30 incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .189 percent. Magistrate John W. Sivertsen Jr. imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Maddox $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for two years.
Timothy Harrington, 37, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Sept. 1 incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .315 percent. Sivertsen imposed 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended, fined Harrington $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for three years.
Chad Medel, 25, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Sept. 11 incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .156 percent. Sivertsen imposed 43 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Medel $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for two years.
