What's open for business

* Alaska Airlines planned to resume some local flights this afternoon. The first seats will go to those booked on today's flights.

* Mail shipments to and from the Lower 48 have not resumed. Long-term mail shipments are still being arranged.

* Small planes and helicopters resumed unscheduled flights within Alaska today, picking up stranded hunters and others.

* One cruise ship, the Westerdam, has canceled a sailing to Juneau. Other ships also may change plans.
