Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:


• Police arrested a woman, 19, for misdemeanor assault at 11:21 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Highway. She also was charged with underage drinking. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• A yard figurine was reported stolen and another found broken at 10:35 a.m. Thursday near Mendenhall Loop Road. Estimated loss was $25.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a man, 21, for failure to yield after a two-vehicle accident at 2:34 p.m. Thursday near Egan Drive and Riverside Drive. A silver Audi, driven by the man, struck a green Mercury Tracer, driven by a man, 47. The vehicles were totaled.

Animal encounters:

• Bears were reported Thursday at 7:01 a.m. near Park Street, 5:46 p.m. near Aspen Avenue, 6:41 p.m. near East Valley Court, 7:44 p.m. near Aspen Avenue, 8:07 p.m. near South Franklin Street, 8:38 p.m. near Third Street, 8:52 p.m. near Douglas Highway, 9:24 p.m. near Coogan Drive in Lemon Creek, 9:34 p.m. near Haffner Court, 9:47 p.m. near Distin Avenue, 9:50 p.m. near Glacier Highway, 9:50 p.m. near Garnet Street, 10:03 p.m. near Glendale Street and 11:05 p.m. near Willoughby Avenue.

• Bears were reported today at 12:18 a.m. near Coogan Drive, 3:26 a.m. near Glendale Street, 6:16 a.m. near Churchill Way in Lemon Creek and 6:37 a.m. near Columbia Boulevard.
