You know, I'm kind of getting tired of people constantly bashing something they don't agree with. I read article after article of people whining about the Bush administration. Just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean it's the wrong thing.
If we didn't go to Iraq the other half of the country would be complaining that we didn't stand up to a real tyrant. You say that Bush lied to us and tricked us into going to war. OK, most of the country, I think something like 85 percent of the country, agreed. Who's flip flopping now? And why did we support him? Because our president said there was reason, we believed him. Now we know some of the evidence was not as reliable as once thought. What happened? We captured a man who's committed genocide, for over a decade lied to the UN and broke UN resolutions.
Why did it take so long for us to go in there, would be my question. Could it be that the French have veto power and also business ties in Iraq?
And someone mentioned the Republican Party tearing down Kerry and flip-flopping? Look at your own party for one second. If you actually watched either of the conventions you would have seen the exact same behavior by your own party. Democrat or Republican, no difference, neither party cares what's best for the country. They just want to be in office and further themselves.
