I've come to the conclusion that some Democrats think it's OK to bash Bush but when the tables are turned, it's a travesty and horrible unjustice.
As I recall the Democrats laughed with glee when Bush's military record was being discussed and ridiculed. Kerry made his heroic service an issue in the campaign and it wasn't Bush throwing away his medals and ripping apart his fellow soldiers.
It has been made clear to me that this election is not about electing the best person. It's about electing anyone but Bush, and Kerry just happens to be that anyone.
Funny when Kerry blames Bush for lost jobs but, when we see new jobs being created now all of a sudden they aren't as good as the ones that were lost. Funny how the Democrats forget how Mrs. Clinton was going to fix our health care problems in 1992 but, now that's Bush's fault because it's not done yet. Funny how Kerry stated how "all Americans deserve the same health coverage I enjoy" and yet in his 20 years in the Senate, many in the majority, nothing's been done but, I forgot, that's Bush's fault. Funny how the economy was in the toilet when Bush took office and yet while it continues to improve Bush is slammed for its demise.
When an idiot filmmaker can create a film like "Fahrenheit 9/11," full of accusations and hatred, and when some Hollywood blowhard can bash our president, and when many prominent Democrats can stand in front of a TV camera and spew volumes of hate toward our president and the majority of Democrats accept and enjoy all of it, then I say to you look who's calling the kettle black.
