Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Christopher Prindle, 32, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. Saturday near Nowell Avenue on a charge of drunken driving. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• Police arrested a girl, 15, on an assault charge at 2:46 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Avenue. They transported her to the Johnson Youth Center.

Hit and run:

• A woman reported at 4:28 p.m. Thursday she was struck by a small green truck while riding a bicycle on Glacier Highway. She said the vehicle left without stopping.

• A girl, 14, reported Saturday that she was struck by a large red truck with tinted windows at about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

Traffic stops:

• Police cited a woman, 20, at 2:04 p.m. Thursday on inbound Egan Drive on a charge of driving without a license. Police released the woman but impounded the vehicle she was driving.

• Police cited a man, 20, at 9:38 p.m. Thursday on Wickersham Street on a charge of driving without a valid license. Police released the man but impounded the vehicle he was driving.

• Police arrested a man, 42, after he was stopped at 9:59 p.m. Thursday on Glacier Highway. A warrant against the man charged that he had driven while his license was suspended. Police also charged him with driving without a valid license. The man was lodged at the state prison. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

• Police cited a man, 20, on a charge of driving without a valid license at 10:25 p.m. Thursday at Front and Franklin streets. Police released the man but impounded the vehicle he was driving. Police also cited a passenger, a 28-year-old man, on a charge of having an open container in the vehicle.


• At 7:55 a.m. Friday, seven combination locks were reported stolen from Dimond and Melvin parks. The locks were valued at $15 each.

• A woman reported her brown leather wallet stolen at 8:16 a.m. Friday. The loss was estimated at $25.

• A woman reported a credit card stolen at 10:19 a.m. Friday from her vehicle on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

• A woman near Glacier Avenue reported at 11:20 a.m. Saturday the theft of about $30.


• At 11:31 a.m. Friday, a man reported the back window of his Dodge Ram truck had been broken out during the past four to five weeks at Mendenhall Mall Road.

Animal complaints:

• Police received a report at 3:06 a.m. Friday of a bear getting into a freezer on a porch of a Trafalgar Avenue residence. Police contacted the owner, who agreed to secure the freezer and clean up the area. Elsewhere, a black bear was reported at 5:43 p.m. Thursday in a tree on Lemon Street in the Lemon Creek area. Early Friday, bears also were reportedly seen at 2:09 a.m. near Long Run Drive and at 6:46 a.m. near Lund Street.
