Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Vehicle accidents:

• At 7:14 p.m. Monday, a woman, 29, was cited for failing to maintain a safe distance near inbound Egan Drive by the Nugget Mall after driving her blue 2000 Toyota into a red 2005 Jeep. A 28-year-old female passenger in the 29-year-old's car was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital for injuries.


• At 4:16 p.m. Monday, a man, 43, reported a $350 carburetor was stolen near Glacier Highway.

Lost property:

• A woman, 20, reported at 2:37 p.m. Monday that she lost a $5 black vinyl bifold wallet somewhere in the Juneau area.

Bear sighting:

• At 8:31 p.m. Monday, a small bear cub was struck by a Chevy Lumina and killed near Glacier Highway.


• At 10:47 a.m. Tuesday, a man, 53, reported his 1994 Ford was vandalized near Glacier Avenue.
