Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Assault:

• A 49-year-old man was arrested on two counts of assault at 6:38 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of South Franklin Street. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Vandalism:

• A 39-year-old man reported at 1:07 p.m. Tuesday that his 1998 Ford Windstar was vandalized Sun- day at mile 26 Glacier Highway.

• Vandalism of a sidewalk on Capital Avenue at Cope Park resulting in $2,000 to $3,000 in damages was reported at 7:03 a.m. Wednesday.

Theft:

• An 11-year-old boy reported his Magna bicycle stolen at 3:18 p.m. Tuesday in the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

Hit and run:

• A 28-year-old woman reported at 4:14 p.m. Tuesday that her 2003 Ford was struck by an unknown vehicle causing damage to the bumper and fender in the 00 block of Marine Way.

Shoplifting:

• A 19-year-old man was cited for concealment of merchandise at 7:19 p.m. Tuesday in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Animal encounters:

• Three bears were reported wandering around Goldbelt Avenue at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Calls related to alcohol: 1.

Calls related to domestic violence: 0.
