Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while Intoxicated:

• Gregory Osborne, 21, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. Saturday near Mendenhall Loop Road for drunken driving and driving with a revoked license. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• At 7 a.m. Friday near Chatham Drive a man reported the theft of stereo components, valued at $570, from his unlocked pickup.

• At 2:40 p.m. Friday near Stephen Richards Drive a man reported his blue bike was stolen.

• At 5 p.m. Friday a woman near Lemon Creek reported that her daughter's black and gray motorized toy car had been stolen.

• At 7:45 p.m. Friday near Marine Way a woman reported the theft of a license plate.

Animal encounters:

• Bears were reported Friday at 3:40 p.m. near Gull Way, 4:20 p.m. near Decker Way, 5 p.m. near Switzer Village, 5:45 p.m. near Lemon Creek, 7:20 p.m. near Lemon Creek where eight children were following a bear, 8 p.m. near Moraine Way, 9:15 p.m. near Lemon Creek, 9:50 p.m. in a Dumpster near Willoughby Avenue, 10:30 p.m. near Seward Street, 11 p.m. near Cedar Court, 11:30 p.m. near Pinedale Street, 11:45 p.m. in garbage near Taku Boulevard, and 11:45 p.m. eating garbage near Gastineau Avenue.

• Bears were reported Saturday at 12:45 a.m. near Behrends Avenue, 1:45 a.m. near Amalga Street, 1:50 a.m. near North Douglas Highway, and 2:30 a.m. near Lemon Creek.


• A man, 39, was arrested at 11:45 a.m. Friday near Second Street downtown on a Juneau police warrant for failing to comply with court orders. He was lodged at the state prison.
