Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Drunken driving:
Jewel Stevens, 51, was arrested for drunken driving and reckless endangerment at 2:43 a.m. Sunday near Front Street. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Vehicle accidents:
A boy, 16, was cited for following too closely at 3:54 p.m. Saturday near Egan Drive and the McNugget Intersection after driving his red 1992 Eagle Summit into the back of a blue 1993 Jeep Cherokee. Damage was $1,000 to the Jeep, $300 to the Eagle.
A man, 38, reported at 8:51 p.m. Saturday that he drove his car into a bear near Mendenhall Loop Road and Mint Way. The bear left the scene.
Animal complaints:
Bears were reported Saturday at 5:48 p.m. near Glacier Highway, at 7:47 p.m. near University Drive and at 10:58 p.m. near Auke Bay Harbor.
Theft:
A woman, 18, was arrested for larceny at 6:43 p.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway and served a warrant for failure to comply with conditions. Another woman, 18, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property. Both woman were lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A man, 42, reported at 9:09 a.m. Sunday that his black Giant mountain bike was stolen near Mendenhall Loop Road. The bike is worth $100.
