Juneau Montessori open house Sept. 23

eau Montessori School is pleased to welcome the community to its annual open house on Thursday, Sept. 23 from 6 to 7 p.m. We would like to give everyone the opportunity to see our beautiful, renovated facilities and meet our dedicated staff. Two new Montessori-certified teachers have joined our team this year. Maren Thomas is certified at the primary level by the Association Montessori Internationale. She holds a bachelors of arts in human studies from Marylhurst University in Portland, Ore.
She has taught the summer program at JMS for the past two years and now leads her own Children's House class. Andrea Roach is also a Montessori teacher at the primary level, certified by the Canadian Montessori Teacher Education Institute. She holds a bachelor of science degree in psychology from the University of Toronto. Andrea will fill the position of Director's Assistant. We hope to see you on Thursday evening to help us celebrate the start of another exciting year.
