Posted: Wednesday, September 15, 2010

Tongass Substance Screening is partnering with Cook Inlet Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse of Kenai and Homer to provide drug screening services at both locations in the near future.

CICADA is currently available to perform drug screenings and breath alcohol screenings for matters related or not related to the Department of Transportation.

In a press release, TSS chief executive officer Renee Schofield stated, "I am excited to be able to bring TSS to the Kenai Peninsula. Many of our clients live and work in that area and love doing business with CICADA. This business relationship allows CICADA to maintain their status as a DOT collection site and enhances their service offerings to the residents of Kenai and Homer."

By the end of the year, the offerings will extend to drug testing via hair, sweat and saliva as well as DNA paternity tests.
