Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Robert Brown, 50, on a charge of drunken driving at 8:02 p.m. Wednesday in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.


• A purse was reported stolen at 3:31 p.m. Wednesday in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.

• A subwoofer, amplifier and fishing rod and reel were reported stolen at 4:52 p.m. Wednesday from an unlocked 1999 Isuzu Rodeo.

• A food stamp and silver necklace were reported stolen at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday in the 5900 block of Churchill Way in the Lemon Creek area.

• Two chainsaws were reported stolen at 11 a.m. Thursday to have been stolen Aug. 31 from an unlocked building in the 7300 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.


• Police cited three 13-year-old girls on shoplifting charges at 2:24 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of West Willoughby Avenue.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 1:43 p.m. Wednesday after citing a 21-year-old man on a charge of driving without a license in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

Animal encounters:

• At 4:13 a.m. Thursday, a bear was reported getting into a trash container near Salmon Creek Lane. A bear also was seen at 9:12 p.m. Wednesday near Cedar Court in the valley.

Calls related to domestic violence: 0.
