Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while intoxicated:
Thomas Gallant, 30, was arrested for drunken driving at 7:25 a.m. Saturday. He was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his vehicle was impounded.
Sean Welch, 35, was arrested for drunken driving at 2:20 a.m. Sunday near Trout Street. He also was charged driving with a revoked driver's license. He was lodged at the state prison.
Police cited a man, 19, for driving after underage drinking at 3:04 a.m. Sunday near Main Street and Second Street.
Assaults:
Police arrested a man, 30, for disorderly conduct at 4:12 a.m. Sunday near Douglas Highway. He was taken to the state prison.
A man, 41, was arrested for domestic violence assault at 12:51 a.m. today in the valley. He was lodged at the state prison.
Thefts:
Police responded to a report at 3:51 p.m. Saturday near Basin Road of a stolen girl's bike from a garage sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
Underage drinking:
Three men, all 18, were cited for underage drinking at 1:58 a.m. Sunday near Third Street and Franklin Street. They all were released.
Vehicle accidents:
The driver of a Honda was cited for careless driving following a two-vehicle accident at 5:10 p.m. Sunday near Thunder Mountain Road and Loop Road. The age and sex of drivers was not available. The driver of the Honda struck the back end of a Chevrolet Blazer when the Blazer slowed down for debris in the road. No one was injured in the accident.
Animal encounters:
Bears were reported Saturday at 11:12 a.m. near Teel Court, 11:29 a.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek, 11:52 a.m. near Lena Loop Road and 1:20 p.m. near Reninger Street.
Bears were reported Sunday at 6:07 p.m. near South Franklin Street, 3:17 p.m. near Engineer's Cutoff Road, 3:44 p.m. near View Drive, 8:20 p.m. near Mendenhall Loop Road, 8:22 p.m. near Jennifer Drive, 10:27 p.m. near Lemon Creek Manor and 11:18 p.m. near the Auke Bay Post Office.
Other:
A man, 36, was cited for not complying with sex offender registration at 7:45 p.m. Sunday near Glacier Avenue and Spruce Street during a traffic stop. A girl, 16, who police said was a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested for an outstanding $125 state trooper warrant. She was lodged at Johnson Youth Center. The man was released at the scene.
A man, 27, was cited and released for criminal trespassing at 10:09 p.m. Sunday near the Gastineau Apartments.
