Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Assaults:

• Police arrested a woman, 33, for domestic violence assault at 2:36 a.m. Monday in the Mendenhall Valley. Police believe alcohol was a factor. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• Police arrested a man, 35, for domestic violence assault at 11:04 p.m. Monday in the Lemon Creek area. Police believe alcohol was a factor. He was lodged at the state prison.

Thefts:

• Two Alpine amps and a Rockford Fosgate CD player were reported stolen at 11:06 a.m. Saturday near Cinema Drive. The items are valued at $1,200. No damage was done to the vehicle from which they were stolen.

• Several items were reported stolen from a 1991 Subaru at 9:39 a.m. Saturday near mile 27 Glacier Highway. The total value of the items was estimated at $470. A rear window was broken to get to the items. Estimated damage to the window was $200.

• A black Alpine CD player was reported stolen at 10:20 a.m. Sunday from a Honda near Silver Street. The rear passenger window was broken and pry marks were found on the door. Damage to the vehicle totaled $2,000 and the stolen item is valued at $500.

• Nearly $300 in food items were reported stolen at 8:18 p.m. Monday near Glacier Avenue.

• A $60 car CD player was reported stolen at 9:27 a.m. Monday near Misty Lane in Douglas.

• A laptop computer, printer and a laser mouse were reported stolen at 1:05 p.m. Monday near Clinton Drive.

• A Huffy mountain bike was reported at 9:47 p.m. Monday near Silver Street. The bike had a custom seat.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

• The rear window of a Jeep Cherokee was reported broken at 8:07 a.m. Saturday near Diane Road.

• The rear window was reported broken out of a 2001 Dodge Neon at 12:03 a.m. Sunday near James Boulevard. The window was broken sometime between 8 and 11 p.m.

• A house was reported egged at 1:30 p.m. Sunday near Mountainside Drive.

• The front windshield of a vehicle was reported smashed at 7:32 a.m. Monday near Vintage Boulevard. The windshield was smashed sometime over the weekend. Estimated damage was unknown.

• A broken windshield of a green Jeep was reported at 8:54 a.m. Monday near Vintage Boulevard. Damage is estimated at $500.

• The rear tires of a Subaru were reported punctured at 5:22 p.m. Monday near Lawson Creek Road.

Underage drinking:

• Police cited and released two men, both 20, for underage drinking at 3:38 a.m. today near North Douglas Highway.

Animal encounters:

• Bears were reported Monday at 8:02 a.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek, 12:32 p.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek, 1:40 p.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek, 9:05 p.m. near Amalga Street, 9:39 p.m. near Moraine Way, 10:15 p.m. near Behrends Avenue and 10:41 p.m. near Behrends Avenue. A bear was reported today at 6:13 a.m. near Steep Place.

Other:

• Police cited a woman, 46, for unlawful use of a license at 12:46 a.m. Saturday near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. The woman allowed a 15-year-old boy to drive a vehicle while she was intoxicated and in the passenger seat, police said.
