AC/DC tribute band Hell's Belles to perform two shows this weekend

Hell's Belles, the nation's best-known all-female AC/DC tribute band, will play two shows in Juneau this weekend.

On Friday, Sept. 18, the band will play "Thunder Struck" at the Juneau-Douglas High School auditorium, at a drug and alcohol free event. Proceeds from the show will benefit Thunder Mountain Basketball. Doors open at 6 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $25 for all ages and are available at Alaskan Dames and the door.

On Saturday night, Sept. 19, the band plays at Marlintini's Lounge in a show called "Highway to Black." This show will feature back-to-back performances of AC/DC albums "Highway to Hell" and "Back in Black" in their entirety. Opening band The Boobie Traps starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 the day of the show, and are available at Marlintini's and the Aurora Projekt located on Franklin Street next to the Alaskan Hotel & Bar.
