Juneau-Douglas High School football -- The Crimson Bears host the defending state champion Dimond Lynx at 7 p.m. at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park in the last home game of the regular season.

Juneau Billiard Association registration -- Registration for the 2001-2002 8-ball season takes place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Viking Lounge and at Marlintini's. The early registration fee is $30 per player, and increases to $35 after Sept. 20. This year, 8-ball registration includes registration into the inaugural 9-ball league. Travel funds needed -- Excalibur Drilling and Blasting, the Juneau Softball Association's Men's Division 1 champions this summer, is raising funds to travel to the National Slowpitch Softball World Series Qualifying Tournament on Sept. 20-23 in Portland, Ore.
