you had a chance to remodel your house and have the state pick up 70 percent of the cost would you do it? That is exactly the deal being offered to Juneau in the vote on the Oct. 7 school bond proposition. Under a municipal bond reimbursement program created by the Legislature, Juneau has until July 1, 2004, to qualify for reimbursement of 70 percent of the costs of school renovation projects. This bond proposition would raise $6,945,000 in order to make badly needed repairs to Floyd Dryden Middle School and to the water pipes at Harborview Elementary School. I urge everyone to support this measure. It is a good deal for the community and for the school children of Juneau.
