Man accused of threatening bingo hall

KOTZEBUE - Alaska State Troopers said a man locked the doors of a bingo hall in Noatak and threatened to set it on fire with people inside.

They were able to escape Tuesday when a key was passed through a vent to witnesses outside.

Responding troopers tracked down the 50-year-old Noatak man with the help of a search and rescue team. He's jailed in Kotzebue with no bail.
