Police arrested a 39-year-old man on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 10:31 p.m. Sunday in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A 6-gallon gas tank, its fittings and its hoses were reported stolen at 5:52 p.m. Sunday from a boat in the 800 block of Front Street in Douglas.
A blue decorative flag was reported stolen at 11:25 a.m. Monday at Front and Franklin streets downtown.
Police cited a 16-year-old boy on a charge of concealing merchandise at 4:01 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue downtown.
Police cited a 24-year-old man on a charge of concealing merchandise at 4:43 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.
A window was reported broken out of a door at 8:19 a.m. Monday in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.
Police cited a 26-year-old man on a charge of unsafe backing after an accident at 5:59 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Franklin Street downtown. He was driving a 1993 Ford pickup. Damage estimates to the vehicle and a 2004 Dodge pickup were unavailable.
A two-vehicle accident was reported at 6:40 p.m. Sunday involving a 1990 Volvo and a 2002 Jaguar in the 5200 block of Commercial Boulevard in the Lemon Creek area. No damage estimates were available.
Police impounded a vehicle at 12:34 p.m. Sunday on Delta Drive in the valley after citing the driver, a 37-year-old man, on a charge of driving without a license.
After a man reported hearing banging and glass breaking at 2:53 a.m. Monday at his home in the 200 block of F Street in Douglas, police discovered that a bear attracted to garbage at the home had done the damage. Bears also were reported at 4:40 a.m. Monday near Calhoun Avenue in the area of the Governor's Mansion.
