Juneau resident Elizabeth S. Murphy died Aug. 7, 2008, at Bartlett Regional Hospital. She was 79.

Services were held Aug. 12 at the Tlingit and Haida Building in Juneau. Burial services followed on Aug. 13 at the Alaskan Memorial Park and Mortuary.
