Expansion in senior resources

Posted: Sunday, September 19, 2010

Southeast Senior Services has expanded its Senior Information and Caregiver Resource Center. New to the team since July are Kelley Huse, LCSW, who will provide counseling services to seniors and family caregivers in Juneau, and Jean Jasmine, Ed. M, M.A., who will provide similar counseling services in Kake. Huse and Jasmine are available to offer information, support and counseling to seniors and family caregivers, either together or separately, free of charge, thanks to grants from the Division of Senior and Disabilities Services, the City and Borough of Juneau and a tribal partnership with the Organized Village of Kake. Also, Resource and Outreach Specialist Julie Dyar has been promoted to manage the Senior Information and Caregiver Resource Center, in addition to providing family caregiver support and counseling on Medicare benefits. For more information or to schedule an appointment with any of these staff members, call the Senior Information and Caregiver Resource Center at 463-6177 or (866)746-6177.
