Two weeks ago on Thursday three kids were pulled from the Mendenhall River. My wife and I opened up our house to them, fed them tea, and gave them warm, dry clothes to wear. As of today, we haven't seen our clothes again, or even heard a "thank you."

As a police officer in Florida, I see a lot of handicapped parking spaces being used by non-handicapped people. I wish the police officers here would enforce the handicapped parking laws.

Regarding the impossibility of building a road into Juneau, it might pay some people to look back into history and check the can-do attitude on the man that built the Alaska-Canada highway and the obstacles they ran into.
Jamie Parsons' support for a road into Juneau has no connection to his support for education, which features an 11-year record of commitment to our local schools, in addition to the time he volunteers to serve on the UAS campus council.
