Shannon Jill Fields, of Ashdown, Ark., and Kevin David Collison, of Toronto, Ontario, were married Aug. 1, 2009, at the Shrine of Saint Therese. A reception will take place Oct. 3 in Arkansas.
The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Jeanne Fields. A University of Alaska graduate, she works for the Fish and Game Commissioner's Office.
The groom is the son of Ken and Jeannette Collison. He attended University of Alaska and works as an underground miner for Hecla/Greens Creek Mining Co.
Mary Schlosser was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristina Watsell, Ginger Ray and Dawn Harris. Ashley Grantham was the flower girl.
Bryan Collison was the best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Lange, Bobby Dilg and Arnie Tapi. Isaac Schlosser was the ring bearer.
The couple will honeymoon in Hawaii and make their home in Juneau.
