Gastineau Genealogy Society

The Gastineau Genealogy Society will host the third annual Genealogy Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sept. 24, at the Family History Library in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

A series of lectures and information tables will be available to aide in researching family history.

Glucose, cholesterol screening

Bartlett Regional Hospital's free glucose and cholesterol screening will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sept. 24, at the Nugget Mall.

Pizza, shelf reading party

The Juneau Public Library will hold a pizza and shelf reading party from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Sept. 23, at the downtown library.

Help the library put books in order and eat a free pizza dinner.

Call Mark Whitman at 586-0446 to register, or sign up at the circulation desk in the library. Children under the age of 12 are not encouraged to attend.
