Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while Intoxicated:

• Christopher Batchelor, 19, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. Saturday near View Drive for drunken driving. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Assaults:

• A woman, 40, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. Friday in the Mendenhall Valley for domestic violence assault. She was lodged at the state prison.

• At 1:15 a.m. Saturday in the Lemon Creek area a man, 27, was arrested for domestic violence assault. He was lodged at the state prison.

Thefts:

• At 8:15 a.m. Friday from Trafalgar Avenue a man reported the theft of a CD player, CDs and Panasonic Walkman from his vehicle.

• At 9 a.m. Friday from Forest Lane a man reported the theft of a jar of change and a pocket knife from his unlocked pickup.

• At 10:10 a.m. Friday from Shell Simmons Drive a woman, 46, was cited for larceny and released.

• At 11 a.m. Friday from Glacier Avenue a man reported the theft of a handheld computer from his unlocked vehicle in June.

• At 1:15 p.m. Friday from Julep Street a woman reported the theft of a lighted license plate cover from her vehicle.

• At 2:45 p.m. Friday from Julep Street a woman reported the theft of a silver Sony CD player from her vehicle a month ago.

• At 3 p.m. Friday from B Street a man reported the theft of a blue daypack from his unlocked vehicle.

• At 3 p.m. Friday from Cedar Court a woman reported the theft of a CD case with CDs from a pickup.

• At 5 p.m. Friday from Turn Street a boy reported the theft of 50-75 CDs three weeks ago.

• At 5:30 p.m. Friday from Fritz Cove Road a woman reported the theft of a bag of dirty clothing, a pulse monitor and shoes.

• At 8 p.m. Friday from Dudley Street a woman reported the theft of cash, a cassette case and 30 tapes from her vehicle three weeks ago.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

• At 7:30 a.m. Friday a man from Canyon Drive reported a window and a tub had been vandalized.

• At 1:45 p.m. Friday from Glacier Highway near Lemon Creek a man reported a window in his pickup was broken.

• At 11:10 p.m. Friday near Mendenhall Loop Road a man reported that his windshield was cracked by an object thrown off an overpass.

Hit-and-run incidents:

• At 5:30 p.m. from Glacier Avenue a woman reported her car had been hit while parked.

Animal encounters:

• Bears were reported Friday at 9:45 a.m. near Lund Street getting into garbage, 10 a.m. Glacier Highway eating chickens, 11:45 a.m. near Auke Lake Way in an unsecured Dumpster, 7 p.m. near Glacier Highway, 10:30 p.m. near Tee Harbor, where a motorist reported hitting a bear but not injuring it, 10:50 p.m. near West 10th Street in garbage, and 11:20 p.m. near Aspen Avenue eating garbage.

• Bears were reported Saturday at 12:30 a.m. near Taku Boulevard tossing garbage cans, at 12:40 a.m. near Behrends Avenue, at 2:30 a.m. near Glacier Highway, and 4:15 a.m. near Glacier Highway.

Domestic violence calls: 2.

Alcohol-related calls: 5.
