Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Stash Ginger, 29, was arrested for drunken driving at 1:03 a.m. Tuesday near Douglas Highway and H Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his car was impounded.

Animal encounters:

• At 12:50 a.m. Tuesday, a bear cub was reported caught in a trap near Kanata Street. Alaska Department of Fish and Game officials responded.

Vehicle accidents:

• A boy, 16, was cited for careless driving at 2:41 p.m. Monday near outbound Egan Drive and Norway Point after driving his red 2002 Subaru into a green 2002 Mazda. Both vehicles were privately towed.

• A boy, 17, was cited for careless driving at 2:46 p.m. Monday near the Auke Bay post office after driving his 1999 Pontiac into a silver 2003 Mazda driven by a woman, 39. The woman was cited for driving with an expired license. The Mazda sustained less than $500 in damage, while the Pontiac sustained $1,500 in damage.

• At 7:19 p.m. Monday, a woman, 27, drove her 1990 blue Plymouth Voyager into a ditch near Peterson Hill while attempting to make a U-turn. Her vehicle was not damaged.


• At 3:37 p.m. Monday, police received a report that a $500 window had been broken near Glacier Highway.


• At 1:01 a.m. Tuesday, a man, 45, reported a man stole $140 in cash from him near Glacier Highway. Police could not locate the suspect.
